Laurence Bussey: Treasurer
Retired US Navy Commander. Administered the restoration, preservation and stewardship of Smuttynose Island over the past twenty years. Connection with the military establishment will attract Navy and Coast Guard volunteer contingent. Archival research into the history of the Wood Island Station has unveiled a wealth of original documents. Holds a 100T USCG license, and as owner of a yacht brokerage has several watercraft available for island access needs. Graduate of the University of Maine. Master’s degree in Maritime History from the University of New Hampshire.
William Howells: Director
A fourth generation resident of Kittery Point. Served 33 years in the US Navy, the Civil, Foreign, and Senior Executive Services in the Department of State. Twenty years as President and Publisher of Howells House, an independent book publishing company. Now retired. Former board member of Strawbery Banke Museum.
Dave Kaselauskas: Director
Resident of Kittery Point since 1964. Commercial fisherman (lobsters) based in Pepperrell Cove on vessel Jersey Girl. Passion for history of Kittery Point and Wood Island. Owner of various Wood Island photographs, maps and memorabilia.
Jim McPherson: Director
Retired US Coast Guard Captain and Kittery resident. Formerly Chief of Staff, First Coast Guard District. Previously served as Commander Coast Guard Sector Northern New England, Chief Office of Public Affairs Coast Guard Headquarters, Washington DC and Commanding Officer USCGC ESCANABA. Captain McPherson is a graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy.
Beth Segers: Director
Resident of Kittery Point since 1999. Partner at Empirical Research Partners, an equity portfolio strategy firm in NYC, covering the money management industry. Has served on several nonprofit boards (investment committee of Holy Name Province of Franscican Friars, Nativity Preparatory School in Boston) as well as chaired the research committee of the Investment Company Institute, the trade association for the U.S. mutual fund industry. Frequent kayaker to Wood Island.

Prior to Moon River, founded and pioneered two early e-commerce success stories. Property owner in the greater seacoast area for 12 years.
